Grandma's famous biscuit recipe for stressful days
By Julia Wuenscher
Stressful weeks, stressful days, stressful holidays. Unfortunately, our society is often plagued by stress. Grandma's biscuit recipe, which she refined 80 years ago, is our secret ingredient for quiet days. We then place our Bronze Oil Burner , a hand-cast bronze oil lamp, in the kitchen to mix the pleasant scent of our lavender oil with the scent of cookies in the air. But not only the scent of lavender is enchanting, but also the nostalgia for grandma's biscuits. Here's Grandma's recipe for cream biscuits:
Ingredients:
- 580 grams of flour
- 250 g icing sugar or icing sugar
- 60 grams of butter
- vanilla or lemon zest
- 3 small eggs
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 4-5 spoons of sour cream
And then?
Knead the dough and then let it rest for 15-30 minutes. Then cut it out with your favorite biscuit shapes (be careful not to cut too thin) and bake the biscuits at 180 degrees Celsius until they are golden. Then let it cool down and enjoy. Insider tip: Dip them in chocolate for the ultimate biscuit treat. We wish you calm and hopefully stress-free days.
